We would like to invite you to performances, which we have prepared in the pre-Christmas season within the 22nd year of the annual Christmas Dance Scene. The performances will be held in Prague Congress Centre this year.
Monday, 18th December 2017 at 7 p.m. – Welcome to the World
Welcome to the World is a full-evening family title of dance theatre performed by a student dance company called Baby Ballet Prague. Dramaturgy has been inspired by a selection of 24 well-known songs from an exceptionally abundant collection by Zdeněk Svěrák and Jaroslav Uhlíř.

Both student companies of Dance Centre Prague, Ballet Prague Junior and Baby Ballet Prague, have prepared a unique Christmas programme for schools for this year´s Christmas Dance Scene, which connects an educative character of dance theatre with a pleasant pastoral atmosphere. It will please both students and teachers.

It is possible even for a dance theatre to be inspired by pastoral atmosphere and create a varied collection of traditional one-act pieces to typical Christmas music based on festive symbols of Christmas. The performance is prepared by students of all age stages and their teachers, by both student companies (Ballet Prague Junior and Baby Ballet Prague) and important guests from Prague Chamber Ballet and many more.
